Ryanair Crew Strips Down For Calendar

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Female flight attendants for the Irish low-fare airline Ryanair have stripped down for a 2010 calendar, all in the name of charity.

The Telegraph reports that the calendar girls caused rubbernecking in central London on Thursday morning as a few hit the streets in bikinis to promote their new project. Watch a video of the girls catching people's attention on the street .

Proceeds from the calendars, which are being sold on board flights and on the Ryanair Web site for $15, will benefits KIDS, which provides support for disabled children and their families in Britain.

Last year the calendar was met with criticism by Labour party MEP Mary Honeyball.

"Ryanair has again done the dirty in a desperate bid for profits and pimped out its 'sexiest' airline stewards in a 'bare-all' calendar," she said. "Such derisory marketing will surely deter more serious candidates interested in a career in airline services and bring the entire airline service industry career into disrepute as a result."

Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary told the Telegraph that he's already sent a calendar to Honeyball who he said is "anti-fun."

In June Air New Zealand flight crew members donned body-painted uniforms and stategically placed items like life jackets to cover their private parts in the company's marketing campaign.
